Carrie will focus on how applicants can strengthen their job applications by improving their resumes, targeting the right language, and applying best practices throughout the job search process. She’ll share practical tips on refining resume content to better reflect accomplishments, communicate your value, and align with job postings using the right keywords. The session will also cover common mistakes and easy adjustments that can make a big difference in visibility and results. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to make their applications more competitive, impactful, and aligned with what employers are looking for!
About the Speaker:
Carrie Soave is a seasoned HR professional and career consultant with over 13 years of experience in human resources. In 2024, she launched Pointes Consulting (www.pointesconsulting.com), where she helps professionals craft compelling resumes, shape their career narratives, and build confidence in their job search. Based in Metro Detroit, Carrie also works full-time in the nonprofit sector, supporting HR leaders and advancing initiatives that foster organizational and employee growth. Her client-centered approach and deep HR insight make her a trusted resource for career advancement at every stage.
